False propaganda against Sultan Tipu:
Here I feel necessary to include that few authors slanderously wrote against Sultan blaming as fanatical but the fact is totally opposite and truth never dies. To me shortest way to prove this is the following examples:

The Hindu Brahmin, Poorniya was a treasury minister till the end of sultan.
Lala Mahtab Rai was a well wisher and personal writer(munshi) of sultan he use to stay with sultan even during wars, he knows Farsi and Urdu  languages and use to write letters to kings on behalf of sultan, even he had written eulogium for sultan.
Hari Singh was a major officer of Mysore cavalry, his brother Narsingha Rao was also a high rank officer in Sultan’s army.
Srinivas Rao and Appaji Ram acted as ambassadors for sultan.
Rama Rao was a commander of a cavalry, so many examples like these are shows us that Hindus worked with him not hated Sultan.
Sultan participated in dashara festival with his officers and use to provide special finance for it too.
Once someone because of betrayal of Poorniya said bad words for whole community but sultan replied that because of one person’s mistake whole community should not be blamed. Sultan had respect for all religions.
Omitting details of one incidence I would like to quote another example here is a letter written by Tipu to Shankar Guru Acharya found by director of department of archaeology  in 1916 at temple of Sarangiri, in this letter Tipu at odds wrote Guruji’s name first then his, and addressed him very respectfully, some of content of that letter is like “those who desecrate Holy places will pay for this in this world only as said by a poet that though people do sins happily but weeps when faces its consequences, misbehaving with saints of temples is inviting disaster for our generations. Those intruders are mistreating and molesting our Riyaya (de-facto subjects) we ourselves dealing with them, your personality is respectable and you are permitted to use anything you need from villages under our territory. Pray for protection and survival of our sultanate and destruction of our enemies.
Along with this letter Sultan ordered governor of that area that present 200 ashrafies (pennies) and grain in attendance of Guruji. And establish Idol of Devi Sara at its place and at the time of ceremony of establishment serve food to 1000 poor and needy people, impressed by this Guruji sent a shawl as a gift to show his gratitude, in reply to this Sultan again sent a pair of shawls and a precious cloth for the Idol. Once Sultan wrote governor (Sayyed Mohammad) of that area immediately send a palanquin for the Devi and present it to the Guruji and place few soldiers for the protection of the temple.
